Breaking News: Swindon Town Women signed Another Super Star

This season, the 26-year-old midfielder, who led the Forest Green Rovers team in the past, will aim to provide the Town Women with leadership and a wealth of experience.

Jones is a prolific goal scorer who scored eight goals in eighteen games for Forest Green Rovers the previous season. It was then that she met Richard Wood, the current manager of Swindon Town Women.

“I’m excited to get Hattie involved with the group where I’m sure she is going to contribute and help us improve as we look to get better as a team,” Wood said after signing Jones.

” he is the captain right now and has natural leadership qualities; I know her from my time at Forest Green.”
“She is a really good person with a great personality, so she will fit right in with the squad.”

“She has a strong pedigree having played Division 1 soccer in the States. She also played exciting football, and it will be good to have more competition in the squad.”

She has good experience, and I believe it would be crucial for us that she can also contribute her leadership abilities to the team.

It’s fantastic for us to have another player who can help in that area since she has a solid history of scoring goals from midfield.

Thus, I’m genuinely excited about Hattie joining the team.

Jones stated: “Being Forest Green’s captain, it was quite a big step to come away and look at another club.” after joining Swindon.

“I was pretty sure of my abilities there, and hopefully I can repeat some of the goals I scored there and make a difference here.”

Rich and I got along incredibly well throughout our year and a half of working together as Forest Green Rovers’ assistant manager and coach, respectively. I like the type of coach Rich is. I’m excited to collaborate with him once more.
