Stuttgart Eye Norwegian Midfield Prospect Amid Transfer Plans

According to Dennis Bayer and Sweden’s Sportbladet, Bundesliga side Stuttgart have shown interest in Norwegian attacking midfielder Tobias Fjeld Gulliksen. The club is bracing for the likely departure of Enzo Millot and sees Gulliksen—who has impressed at Swedish top-flight club Djurgårdens IF—as a potential reinforcement. The 20-year-old could reportedly be available for around €5 million.

Bayer also mentions that Gulliksen is attracting interest from multiple clubs. Despite the relatively low price tag, Stuttgart might be cautious with spending after recently breaking their transfer record to sign Stade Rennes fullback Lorenz Assignon.

Additionally, Stuttgart are rumored to be considering Bayern Munich’s Paul Wanner as a more budget-friendly option to fill the attacking midfield role. A loan move for the German-Austrian youngster could come at a six-figure cost.

There’s also speculation that Stuttgart could attempt to bring back Noah Darvich, a former SC Freiburg youth player now with Barcelona’s B team. The 18-year-old, originally from Freiburg, joined Barça in August 2023.
