At just 13 years old, Blue Ivy Carter continues to prove she’s far more than a famous last name.
The daughter of music royalty Beyoncé and Jay-Z recently took her talents from the stage to the makeup chair, helping her grandmother Tina Knowles get glam for a major moment at Paris Fashion Week. The stylish matriarch, 71, proudly showed off her look on Instagram, revealing that her granddaughter was the artist behind her fresh-faced appearance.
“She did a fabulous job,” Tina captioned a short video for her 4.2 million followers. “What [do y’all] think?”
While Blue Ivy stayed mostly off-camera—her only on-screen appearance being a quick swipe of lip gloss—her growing artistry continues to shine behind the scenes. Known for backing up her superstar mom on tour, Blue has shown poise well beyond her years. She’s currently a featured performer on Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter World Tour,” which has already grossed over $269 million and heads to Houston’s NRG Stadium this weekend.
Though still a pre-teen, Blue Ivy’s list of accomplishments would make seasoned professionals take note. She’s won a Grammy Award, two BET Awards, an MTV VMA, a Voice Arts Award, an NAACP Image Award, and even holds two Guinness World Records—solidifying her position as one of the youngest and most decorated performers in the industry.
Her makeup skills were on full display as Tina prepped to support another rising star in the family—her grandson, 20-year-old model Daniel Julez Smith Jr., who made waves walking in Bluemarble’s Spring/Summer 2026 menswear show. Julez, the son of Solange Knowles, strutted confidently down the Parisian runway, cheered on by his grandmother and mother’s cousin, Angie Beyincé.
“It was awesome!” Tina beamed from the front row, clearly proud of the family’s latest fashion-forward moment.
Meanwhile, Julez is building his own brand. Though he doesn’t turn 21 until October, he’s already lined up to host the official “Cowboy Carter” afterparty at Sekai Night & Day in Austin, Texas—proving that the Knowles-Carter legacy continues to evolve across multiple industries.
Back on the music front, Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed Cowboy Carter recently earned three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album—further underscoring the dynasty her daughter is growing up in. And with Blue Ivy now dabbling in glam, it’s clear the next generation isn’t just following in their family’s footsteps—they’re creating their own paths.
