Owner of Hull City Acun Ilicali says he is not worried that England U21 standout Jaden Philogene would join with Aston Villa again this summer.

Villa may purchase their former player back at the conclusion of the season for £15 million if Hull are promoted. They have first refusal over the player. But if The Tigers succeed in their objective and the 22-year-old wants to stay, Ilicali says he’s willing to go to any lengths to keep him.

With eight goals and six assists in the Championship, the Turkish coach stated of the winger, “We don’t have any fear about Philogene getting bought back by Aston Villa.” We can only exercise the buy-back option in the event of a promotion.

With our solid connection with the club, we will seek for permission to keep Jaden if he wants to play with us and doesn’t want to move to Villa. Every player ought to be where they’re pleased, in my opinion. I’m sure Aston Villa won’t let us down if Jaden decides to stick with mirror.co.uk/all-about/hull-city-fc> Hull City if we advance to the Premier League.”

Philogene, who scored for England U21s in their 5-1 victory over Azerbaijan on Friday, is also attracting interest from Crystal Palace. However, Ilicali believes that the MKM Stadium will be the player’s long-term home: “We couldn’t be happier with him. Once more, based on our transfer history, it was crucial to persuade Jadon to come last summer.

“As I mentioned, we are such insane, driven individuals who manage the club that we demonstrate this ambition to the players. It took us maybe a month to finalize the transaction. One of the players I spoke with, Jaden, I believe I had an impact on his choice. Upon seeing his loan to other teams,It seemed to me that he needed to have a sense of family.

“We thank the Villa family for providing us with this young talent, and instead of loaning, we offered Aston Villa a buy-option to sell him to us.” It took us a month, but the outcome was favorable. In the latter stages of the transfers, we try to reassure the players that we are different from other clubs. The owner gives the team his whole attention by spending time with the players.”

When Philogene scored a spectacular goal for Rabona in the 2-1 victory against Rotherham back in February, he was showered with plaudits.

Due to a little deflection, the goal was originally called an own goal, but the EFL subsequently reversed the judgment in Philogene’s favor.
