C. J. Stroud Statement Challenge Aaron Rodgers Achievement Bold Words Aim NFL

The New York Yankees (44-19) have everything going for them as the halfway point of the 2024 MLB season approaches, but they will not add another outstanding player to their roster at this time.

Yankees top prospect Jasson Dominguez just completed a 20-day rehab assignment, giving supporters anticipation that he might be called up to replace a struggling Trent Grisham in the lineup. Though he played lights out while getting in shape, the 21-year-old will spend additional time in the minors to acquire consistent repetitions every day at full strength.

The Yankees won’t bring No. 1 prospect Jasson Dominguez back from injury just yet.

According to Randy Miller of NJ.com, the Yankees will not bring Dominguez into the fold and have prolonged his minor league stint at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes Barre for another 10 days beginning on Tuesday, stating the following regarding the emerging dynamic:

“They aren’t going to dump struggling extra outfielder Trent Grisham for No. 1 prospect Jasson Dominguez, whose 20-day rehab assignment ended on Sunday,” Miller stated.

“That could be a strong possibility – or probability – when it comes time to set playoff rosters in October, but not now.”

In his previous ten games, the Dominican slugger has 18 hits, four of which are home runs, with a.310/.375/.552 slash line. In comparison, Grisham has gone up to bat 17 times in the previous 28 days without recording a hit. In that time, he has only scored one run and struck out nine times.
