
Six Miami players scored in double digits, led by Jimmy Butler’s season-high 37 points, and the Heat defeated the visiting Utah Jazz 126-120 on Saturday.

In a game that had 11 ties and 21 lead changes, Butler scored 25 points in the second half, and Miami needed every ounce of his effort.
Keyonte George gave Utah its best game, scoring 31 points to come just two points short of his career high that he had established on February 15. George led the Jazz to a 14-of-35 performance from beyond the arc, making 6 of his 14 3-point attempts.
Lauri Markkanen scored 25 points by making 11 of 12 free throws and 4 of 9 long shots. Add to it a team-high six assists from Markkanen.
The Jazz led by as many as 11 points in the third quarter after going on a 9-0 run shortly before halftime and scoring the first seven points after the break.
But once the Heat took a lead in the fourth quarter, Utah was unable to overcome Butler and Miami. Butler scored the game’s last two points when the Jazz closed to within six points in the final 2:17, including a three-pointer with 1:11 left to round off his effort and ultimately end the game.
With Tyler Herro (knee) out for the fourth straight game, Duncan Robinson started and finished with 12 points and six assists. Bam Adebayo scored 23 points and pulled down seven rebounds in the victory. Terry Rozier finished with 14 points and a game-high eight assists.
Miami’s 46 completed field goals included thirty-three assists, leading the Heat to their highest-scoring contest since December 2.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (12 points) and Caleb Martin (18 points) completed Miami’s double-figure scoring performances after entering the game as substitutes. Martin made four of his six 3-point attempts.
Utah lost its eighth game in a row despite having 18 points from both Collin Sexton and John Collins. For the Jazz, Taylor Hendricks pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds.
