‘Monitoring’ Sheffield United star previously linked to Liverpool are Aston Villa and West Ham.
The 19-year-old is highly regarded at Bramall Lane, to the point where he was welcomed back in January following a loan spell at Port Vale. Since then, he has been included into Chris Wilder’s squad and has played in three Premier League games.
Arblaster signed a new deal in February, despite rumors in January that Liverpool was interested in him. Arblaster stated, “You can develop so much through Academy football, but then you go out and play men’s football, and you see how difficult it is playing Tuesday-Saturday.” This was after the two parties agreed to new terms at Bramall Lane earlier this year. I feel like I have learnt a lot over the previous 12 months, both on and off the field. You see how determined it is to achieve three points.
“It seems like an age to have been here for twelve years! Now that I’ve inked a new long-term contract, I feel that the effort I’ve put in to come here has paid off, but I still have to work hard to establish myself in the starting lineup.”
He had his first experience of senior football in 2021 when Bradford (Park Avenue), a non-league team, loaned him away. But it was during his tenure at Port Vale that his stock took off. He made 26 games for the League One team, making an impression with displays of midfield skill that belied his young age.
