KCTV, Kansas City, Missouri – During a news conference, the lawyer for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice discussed the six-vehicle collision that left four people injured on a Dallas-area highway. On Thursday, the news conference started at about 1:30 p.m. central time.
The scheduled press conference happened one day after Rice shared on Instagram his first official statement following the incident.
In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday, Rice said, “Today I met with Dallas PD investigators regarding Saturday’s accident.” Rice uses the handle @doub11e_r. “I fully accept responsibility for my involvement in this, and I’ll keep helping the appropriate authorities.

“I sincerely apologize to everyone who was affected by the accident on Saturday.”
Rice was renting a Lamborghini SUV, which the police claimed was one of two speeding sports vehicles that resulted in a chain-reaction accident on a Dallas highway, according to a Dallas exotic car rental firm on Tuesday. The collision occurred on Saturday just before 6:30 p.m.
Four patients in the other cars had minimal medical attention.
Both the Lamborghini and Corvette’s occupants allegedly “ran from the scene without stopping to determine if anyone needed medical assistance.”
